Fall is the air, but the leaves are on the ground....lots and lots of leaves.

it was a daunting task...
Niko was even out there to cheer us on…
Alas, we finished the task that was set before us…
Now we just have to rake the back of the house. We also found it pretty funny that while raking the leaves others continued to fall from the trees around us. So, who knows what the yard will look like in a few days. Oh well, we wanted to get some of them up since my parents are coming in three days!!

Shan, you are queen of the leaves!!! :) We have quite a collection of dead leaves at our house, too, but we keep telling ourselves that it's classy to have an unraked lawn. Maybe someday we'll clear them off... in the spring or something. :) I miss you!
We have 4 huge trees in our yard, and spent lots of time raking too, and I agree, it seems somewhat pointless when leaves are falling while you rake, but at least it looks nice for a couple days!

You do it the traditional way, we simply use the lawn mower. Lazy, huh? Oh well, I normally get a good rake in when spring hits.
